Increasing Visibility & Influence At Work

A common challenge many people write to me about is how to stand out in their careers. They do good work, but they’re overlooked for promotions. They want to have a voice in meetings, but they struggle to speak up. They know they need to network, but it feels uncomfortable or inauthentic.

That is why I’m creating an online, self-paced course on increasing career visibility, influence at work, and getting promoted. If you’re interested, join the waitlist here!

In the meantime, here are some tried and tested strategies you can start using today:

  • Learn influencing skills – Persuasive communication is a game changer. Learn how we do it!

  • Build social capital – Relationships matter. Identify key allies at work and invest in meaningful connections.

  • Develop a growth mindset – See challenges as opportunities. We either succeed or learn and grow.

  • Track and share your wins – If you don’t advocate for yourself, who will? Keep a record of your achievements and learn to communicate them effectively, whether on social media or in workplace conversations.

  • Become a subject matter expert – Establish credibility by speaking up in meetings, writing about your expertise, or positioning yourself as a thought leader in your industry.

Hard workers get rewarded with more work. But hard and smart workers make sure their work is visible and acknowledged. We have to destigmatise showcasing our accomplishments, so that we can advocate for ourselves and those around us.

If navigating difficult conversations or stepping into change feels overwhelming, we’re here to help. Join the waitlist for my new course, or check out upcoming workshops!

Much love

Crystal
