Dear Community

For so many years, I was using 4 journals in my productivity and self-care system, because I could not find one that helped me in both areas. I realised that productivity planners and self-care journals often stood as separate entities. They really shouldn’t, as both areas are two sides of the same coin.

And so I did the next best thing: I partnered my dear friend and fellow journal user Rachel Lim, and we created the I Am Well journal.

We built this journal because we had found ourselves in a futile search for that one journal that had: year-start and year-end reflections, prompts for reflective journalling, direction for goal setting and tracking, space for monthly and quarterly reviews, amongst other things. We wanted a journal that would help us plan our daily schedules, get to our goals, while making sure we were not neglecting our wellness.

What sets the I Am Well journal apart from the rest is that it merges both productivity and self-care. True well-being is a delicate harmony between achieving all the goals we’ve set out for ourselves, and a nurturing of the soul. We cannot achieve our goals if our spirit has been neglected, and we cannot say that we have taken good care of ourselves if we disregard our goals.

Rachel and I embrace both digital and analogue calendars. Our digital calendars are largely for administrative and organisational purposes, but the pen and paper journals we use are absolutely needed to unleash creativity, intuition, and strategic thinking.

It is backed by research that writing things by hand has a big, tangible effect on your effectiveness. Writing things out augments the process by which things we perceive travel to our brain’s hippocampus where they are analysed. Basically, when you write things down, they stand a much greater chance of being remembered. Vividly describing your goals in written form is also strongly associated with the achievement of those goals.

In our journal, we also use frameworks like the Eisenhower Matrix to help you be the productivity powerhouse that you can be. The matrix can help to streamline your tasks to ensure you are prioritising the truly important tasks that will lead you to your goals.

The journals are beautifully made and well-crafted, with tools, inspiration and a gentle hand from your work-life besties to get you to where you want to be.

I am so excited to share our journal with you, and I’ll be telling you more about the different segments and features of our journal on IG as well.

Get on the waitlist if you have been seeking that one perfect journal. It will partner you in setting goals, making plans, and taking actionable steps towards elevating your productivity and wellness.
